Mum's Recipe

There is a Chinese saying ‘飲水思源 - yǐn shuǐ sī yuán’ which translates to always remembering one’s roots or where one comes from. No matter what I do or where I go, Malaysia will still be my forever home.
Through using my own experiences to illustrate a relatable yet personal aspect of my life, I hope to draw audiences closer with my feelings that are expressed out of being homesick. All to tell a story that at the end of the day, even in the presence of things that remind me of home, I would always be Malaysian and Malaysia will forever be home.
